DIY Moss Covered Arrangement

Well I am back at it again beautiful ladies sharing a beautiful piece of abode décor that anyone can totally brand themselves no matter what you skill level may exist. Simply earlier nosotros go started, I want to introduce myself showtime for those of you that I have not had the pleasure of meeting.

DIY Moss Covered Arrangement

Now let's get started with the fun part. Permit'due south talk shopping! I love to become shopping and peculiarly at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I am sure anybody has heard of these stores and been there with an addiction like mine. But if you haven't, it is basically total of beautiful home décor, clothes, shoes, and just virtually annihilation else you can think of, from brand name retailers merely for a fraction of the price.

I recently did a mini-makeover on my master bathroom and have been searching for something else to give it a little touch on of nature. I saw several of the planters with gorgeous succulents or boxwood greenery. Well this got me to thinking. I honey moss so why not do something of my own that would cost much less but yet wait merely equally gorgeous.

Which now brings me to this cute DIY moss covered organization.

Supplies:

Moss
Styrofoam or small ball- I used a vi" ball.
Planter- I plant mine at the dollar store and then y'all just can't beat the price.
Modernistic podge
Foam brush
Skewer

*Let me beginning say that Styrofoam and moss can be pricey so be sure to use a coupon if you purchase it at a craft shop or even cheque at your local dollar store.

Identify a skewer on the bottom of your styrofoam ball to make it easier to hold while you place the moss.
Using a cream brush, paint the mod podge over the entire ball.
Place the moss or sprinkle it over the entire ball until information technology is completely covered. *I recommend doing this over newspaper every bit information technology can become messy. Plus you can reuse the moss that doesn't stick.
Remove the skewer and place the ball in the planter.

You are at present set up to display your organization and add some colour to your space. I placed mine around my garden tub. It works perfectly to bring a little bit of nature within.

You lot could also place it abreast several old books and a candle. The Bible beneath was really my great grandmother's and are very special to me.

This project cost me about $4.00 to actually brand. How affordable is that? Plus yous tin can make more and dissimilar sizes to use throughout other areas in your house.
